Hello my name is Terri Vernon. I developed stress reduction workshops when I was a college teacher to help my students feel calm before tests and eventually people began to ask me to deliver stress reduction workshops in the community.
I saw there was a need for simple, easy ways for people to manage stress and feel better. After I retired from teaching I pursued counselling training at Acadia University because I wanted to focus on wellness and healthy living. I trained in Laughter Yoga facilitation and HealthRHYTHM drum circle facilitation because these help to reduce stress and improve wellness while creating positive connections with community.
I am happy to work with groups or individuals to deliver enjoyable stress reduction sessions as well as mindfulness, laughter yoga or drum circles. I can work with your group in person or online.
